Kitchen Confident statement to Roczen’s Return at the 250 Class: “He’s Going to Mix It Up for Sure”

As Ken Roczen gears up for his return to the 250 class, his fellow competitor Levi Kitchen is confident that Roczen is more than ready for the challenge. Despite Roczen expressing concerns about his starts, Kitchen remains unconvinced that there’s any real issue.

“He looks okay; he looks good,” Kitchen said with a chuckle, dismissing Roczen’s self-doubt. “Honestly, I don’t know why he’s worried about his starts. We did starts the other day, and he got me on a couple, and I’ve been getting really good starts lately.”

Roczen’s return to the 250 class has generated plenty of buzz, especially since the last time he rode in this category, many of his current competitors were still in elementary

school. Riders like Haiden Deegan, now one of the rising stars in SuperMotocross, were just kids on 50cc bikes when Roczen was making his name on the international stage.

But Kitchen isn’t concerned about Roczen’s long absence from the class. In fact, he’s eager to see how Roczen’s experience and skill translate to the competition. “He’s going to mix it up for sure,” Kitchen added, showing a clear respect for the veteran’s abilities.

Roczen’s return to the 250cc category isn’t just about proving that he still has what it takes to compete with the younger generation—it’s about adapting to a field of riders who have grown up idolizing him. The fact that Roczen’s last stint on a 250 bike predates many of his competitors’ professional careers only adds to the intrigue surrounding his performance.

As the competition heats up, one thing is clear: Roczen’s mix of talent, experience, and grit will make him a formidable force, no matter what class he’s racing in. And if Kitchen’s words are any indication, Roczen has nothing to worry about—he’s ready to make a serious impact.
