The Kinks Officially Announces Reunion Tour In 2025: “THE LEGACY LIVES ON”
London, UK – November 15, 2024 – Legendary British rock band The Kinks has officially announced a highly anticipated reunion tour, set to kick off in June 2025. The 40-date trek will visit major cities across North America, Europe, and the UK, marking the band’s first tour in over two decades.
“The Legacy Lives On” tour will feature original members Ray Davies (lead vocals, guitar), Dave Davies (guitar, vocals), and Mick Avory (drums), alongside longtime bassist Jim Rodford. The reunion promises to deliver a nostalgic and energetic performance, showcasing The Kinks’ iconic discography.
The tour will feature a career-spanning setlist, including:
1. Classic hits: “You Really Got Me,” “All Day and All of the Night,” “Lola,” and “Sunny Afternoon.”
2. Fan favorites: “Tired of Waiting for You,” “Set Me Free,” and “Dead End Street.”
3. Deep cuts: “Village Green,” “Waterloo Sunset,” and “Muswell Hillbillies.”
