Tottenham Hotspur is rumoured to have shown interest in Kasey McAteer of Leicester City.
After City’s Premier League relegation, Spurs raided the Foxes in the summer to sign star James Maddison. Additionally, it is now known that Ange Postecoglou’s team is considering young winger McAteer.
This season, at King Power Stadium, the 22-year-old made his breakthrough and propelled Enzo Maresca’s team to the top of the Championship. In 13 league games, McAteer has scored four goals. In September, he also scored in the EFL Cup against Liverpool.
Ben Jacobs says Tottenham is showing interest in him because of his performance for Leicester. “The other player Tottenham are looking at, a different type of player to the ones we have mentioned is Kasey McAteer at Leicester, they really like him,” he revealed in an interview with Spurs Chat Podcast.
