Man Charged with GBH After Serious Assault at Wiltshire Motocross Event

A 34-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent following a serious assault at a motocross event in Wiltshire on Thursday.

The incident occurred at approximately 21:15 BST at Foxhill motocross in Upper Wanborough, near Swindon.

Wiltshire Police reported that emergency services were dispatched

The victim, also in his 30s, was taken to hospital and is currently in a life-threatening condition.

Ben Starr, 34, of Woodside Avenue, Ripley, was arrested at the event and has been remanded in custody. He is scheduled to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court on Saturday.

Police have confirmed that the suspect and the victim are known to each other.

An ongoing investigation has led to the imposition of a cordon around the area as authorities continue to gather evidence and understand the full circumstances surrounding the attack.
