Bastianini’s victories were a testament to his impressive form and racecraft. Although he narrowly missed
This performance has garnered praise from Carlo Pernat, Bastianini’s manager, who emphasized the significance of this achievement.
Pernat stated, “It was Bastianini’s day; the Italian narrowly missed pole but won both the Sprint and the GP. These 37 points are crucial and demonstrate the rider’s true value.”
Looking ahead, Pernat remains optimistic about Bastianini’s prospects for the championship.
With ten Grand Prix remaining and a total of 370 points up for grabs, Pernat believes Bastianini is well-positioned to contend for the title.
“Enea started well and then switched to tire management mode, making a good pass on Bagnaia and then catching Martín, who had nothing left to give at the end of the race. There is still time; he can fight for the title,” Pernat remarked.
Bastianini’s performance at Silverstone has not only bolstered his standing in the championship but also underscored his potential to be a serious contender in the 2024 season.
As the championship progresses, fans and analysts alike will be keenly watching to see if Bastianini can maintain his form and challenge for the top spot.
