Jett Lawrence made an impressive comeback from injury, showcasing his resilience and skill in the latest round of the Pro Motocross Championship. After missing several races due to a thumb injury, Lawrence returned to the track with determination, finishing second in Moto 1 and winning Moto 2, ultimately securing the overall victory through a tiebreaker against Eli Tomac.

Eli Tomac also made headlines with a strong performance, winning Moto 1 and finishing second in Moto 2. He led the first moto and most of the second until a critical moment in the sand section saw him lose the lead to Lawrence. “I was too conservative and it cost me,” Tomac admitted, acknowledging the tight competition between two of SuperMotocross’ elite riders.
Chase Sexton rounded out the podium, finishing third overall with a fourth in Moto 1 and a third in Moto 2. He maintains a narrow four-point lead in the championship standings as the series heads into Round 2 at Texas Motor Speedway, where double points will be up for grabs. With Lawrence’s recent performance, the battle for the title is heating up.
Hunter Lawrence, Jett’s brother, finished fourth overall after a third in Moto 2 and a sixth in Moto 1. He was competitive early on, even reaching second place in Moto 1 before Jett made his move.
