Roger Federer showed his admiration for Coco Gauff when the American appeared in a stunning Vogue cover photo.

Reigning US Open champion Gauff was recently announced. As the cover star of the April 2024 issue of American Vogue. The 19-year-old shines on the cover in a gold sequin dress and showed off her sporty side in several other pictures as well.

Roger Federer, known as a tennis player, was happy to capture Coco Gauff in the spotlight. . . The 20-time Grand Slam champion, who is also close friends with the magazine’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, called Gauff’s inclusion “well deserved.”

“Go Coco! Congratulations! Well deserved @cocogauff,” he wrote in her Instagram story.”

Vogue, one of the most respected fashion and lifestyle magazines, spotlights the most influential figures in fashion and entertainment.

Coco Gauff, however, is not the first tennis . player will be featured on the cover of the magazine. Icons such as Naomi Osaka and Serena Williams have also graced the covers of the American magazine in the past. While several others such as Ons Jabeur and Aryna Sabalenka have graced the magazine’s regional issues.

Coco Gauff who made his mark on the tennis circuit defeating Venus Williams at the age of 15 at the 2019 Wimbledon Championships, has supported Roger Federer since she turned pro.

Gauff signed with Federer’s agency, Team 8, ahead of her professional debut. So the Swiss legend has been one of Coco Gauff’s biggest cheerleaders over the years.

When Gauff won his first Grand Slam title in front of his home crowd at the 2023 US Open, Federer called the feat “very special.”

“The current tennis court looks very good to me. If I look quickly at what Coco Gauff did at the US Open, I think it was very special and unique,” Roger Federer at the 2023 Laver Cup. said via Eurosport. “I’ve known her for five years now, she’s amazing.”
The former world number one also wrote a heartfelt message on her social media page after the teenager’s win.

“Inspiring win @cocogauff, I watched. you [ tennis] for years. Your hard work and mental toughness are great for our sport. You shine brighter than ever,” he wrote.
Gauff, riding a 16-game winning streak on American hard courts [starting in 2023. The Citi. Open], is currently the 2024 BNP Paribas at Indian Wells At the Open. The third seed, drawn in the bottom half with world number one Aryna Sabalenka, received a bye in the opening round. She is expected to begin her campaign on Saturday March 9 in the second round against either Wang Xiyu or Clara Burel.
