Haiden Deegan Responds to Levi Kitchen’s Coast Inquiry: “I’ll Beat You Anytime”
In a recent Instagram exchange, Haiden Deegan, one of the most talked-about riders in motocross, fired back at Levi Kitchen, who had allegedly reached out to Star Racing to inquire about which coast Deegan would race in during the 2025 Supercross season. Kitchen’s move was reportedly aimed at setting up a showdown with Deegan, hoping to outpace him for the coveted Supercross title. But as is often the case with Deegan, the young rider didn’t hold back in his response.
Deegan, who has been a force in the 250 class, addressed the back-and-forth with Kitchen during an interview, revealing how he felt about the rivalry and the occasional online jabs from competitors. He said, “It’s hard, a lot of people can’t really say anything because I am out there beating them most of the time! Honestly, when people do take little punch lines at me and I am already beating them, I am like, ‘why are you doing that?’”
This remark is reflective of Deegan’s growing confidence and dominance in the sport. The 18-year-old has been one of the brightest young stars in motocross,
As Deegan continues to rack up victories and stay at the top of the 250 class, his rivals have occasionally tried to poke at him through social media, hoping to get under his skin. Deegan, however, isn’t fazed by the trash talk. He even admitted that he used to employ similar tactics when he wasn’t the one winning: “I did the same thing when I wasn’t beating somebody, I took a little punch at them to see if I could break them down,” Deegan shared.
The most notable jab recently came from Kitchen, who, according to Deegan, called Star Racing to figure out which coast he would race in. Kitchen’s apparent strategy was to make sure he’d be on the same coast as Deegan, so the two could face off head-to-head. But Deegan wasn’t impressed, claiming that he would be happy to race Kitchen at any time, on any coast.
“I’ll text you what coast I am racing, let’s get it on, I do not care. I have beat you multiple times,” Deegan confidently stated. “I’m honestly down for it anytime, anyone who wants to race the 250 class, I don’t really care, I will work hard and my goal is to go win.”
Deegan’s words reflect his unwavering self-belief and competitive spirit. While some might see the challenge as a tactic to break down his confidence, for Deegan, it only fuels his desire to prove himself even more. Whether it’s racing against Levi Kitchen or anyone else in the 250 class, Deegan’s mentality remains the same: he’s ready for whatever challenge comes his way.
As the 2025 Supercross season draws closer, the drama between Deegan and Kitchen is likely to heat up, especially with the promise of some fierce battles on the track. Regardless of the back-and-forth on social media, one thing is clear: Haiden Deegan is all-in, and his eyes are firmly set on the Supercross title.
The rivalry between these two young riders will no doubt keep fans on the edge of their seats as they prepare for what promises to be an exciting and intense season ahead. For Deegan, it’s all about proving he’s the best, and he’s ready to take on anyone who stands in his way.
