Informe: El Getafe se prepara para fichar al hombre del Sevilla por £ 10,8 millones mientras lucha con los Spurs para dejar ir a la estrella
Marca have guaranteed that Getafe are the latest club to be planning a move for Tottenham winger Bryan Gil ahead of the late spring move window.
Gil has struggled for playing time under Ange Postecoglou this season and over the last few weeks it has been widely revealed that the Spaniard is willing to leave the club.
In recent weeks, Gil’s former club Sevilla (Vamos Mi Sevilla FC) as well as Eredivisie giants Feyenoord (1908.nl) have reportedly expressed interest in the player.
Marca have now claimed that Getafe are currently prepared to enter the competition to sign the Tottenham attacker.
It makes sense that, having currently secured their La Liga status, the club have begun to proactively prepare for the impending trade window as they hope to gain some fortifications.
One of the players they have focused on is Gil, since the Spanish team ‘is previously considering’ an exit on the wing.
The newspaper adds that the Spanish international is baffled by his situation at Spikes and that Getafe could try to take advantage of it and get him a discount.
Both Gil and Lo Celso will have no shortage of admirers from Spain mid-year, with both players having demonstrated their borrowed skills in La Liga in the relatively recent past. Tottenham will be hoping for a bidding war for the pair and an increase in their price.
