Jake E. Lee Opens Up About Daughter Jade Williams’ Support After Las Vegas Shooting Incident

Jake E. Lee, the legendary guitarist best known for his work with Ozzy Osbourne and his own band Red Dragon Cartel, has never shied away from speaking honestly about the highs and lows of his career and personal life.

In a recent interview, he touched on something deeply personal: the unwavering support he has received from his daughter, Jade Williams, and her husband following his frightening shooting incident in Las Vegas.

The iconic guitarist, admired worldwide for his fiery riffs and genre-defining solos, reflected on the experience with heartfelt gratitude. “Since that day in Las Vegas, Jade has been there for me in ways I can’t even put into words,” Jake admitted. “She’s not just my daughter—she’s been my rock, and having her and her husband by my side has given me a strength I didn’t think I had.”

Family Above All

For Lee, who has always been candid about valuing music as a passion rather than chasing fame or fortune, family has now become even more of a central anchor in his life. He described Jade as someone who not only stood by him emotionally but also ensured he had stability in the aftermath of trauma.

“It’s easy for people to see me as just the guy with the guitar,” Jake said. “But at the end of the day, I’m a dad too. And seeing Jade step up, not just as my daughter but as a strong, compassionate woman, has been incredible. I’m proud of her every single day.”

He also spoke warmly of Jade’s husband, noting that his support was equally invaluable. “Her husband has been unbelievable—he treats me like family, like I’m more than just the father-in-law. Together, they’ve made sure I’ve never had to face any of this alone.”

Music and Healing

While Jake has continued his journey with Red Dragon Cartel and remains active in music, he admitted that healing from such a shocking event wasn’t easy. Still, he says that family connection, particularly Jade’s care, has kept him grounded and inspired.

“Music has always been my outlet,” Lee explained. “But when something like this happens, you need more than music—you need people. And Jade reminded me of that. She reminded me of what truly matters when the amps are off and the crowds are gone.”

A Father’s Gratitude

Jake E. Lee’s story is not just about survival but about family bonds that deepen through adversity. For him, being grateful doesn’t just mean acknowledging his fans, who have stood by him through decades of music, but also recognizing the personal circle that provides him strength away from the stage.

“I’m beyond grateful for Jade and her husband,” Jake concluded. “It’s one thing to have fans cheering you on from the crowd, but it’s another to have your family cheering you on through life. That’s the real gift.”
