Pop sensation Jessie J has opened up to fans about her recent diagnosis with early breast cancer, describing the experience as both shocking and clarifying. The “Price Tag” singer, known for her candor and resilience, shared the news in an emotional Instagram video, where she expressed her determination to face the illness head-on and continue her journey with strength and humor.
The 37-year-old artist, born Jessica Cornish, revealed that she has spent recent weeks undergoing a series of medical tests before receiving the diagnosis. “Cancer sucks in any form,” she said in the video, “but I’m holding on to the word ‘early’.”
Despite the diagnosis, Jessie J plans to honor her commitment to perform at Capital’s Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, June 15. She will then take a break to undergo surgery.
