John Force thanksgiving Message To Fans On Thanksgiving After Difficult Year as he mention likes of Darrell Gwynn, tony stewart and alot
As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, John Force, the legendary 16-time NHRA Funny Car champion, took to social media to share a heartfelt message with his fans and the drag racing community. Joined by his daughter, Brittany Force, and other key members of the John Force Racing team, the racing icon expressed his gratitude in a video that reflected both on the season and his recovery after a life-threatening crash earlier this year.
In the message, Force, known for his competitive spirit and larger-than-life personality, simply said: “John Force here, 16-time Funny Car Champ, and I just want to say to you and your family, have a happy Thanksgiving.” His daughter, Brittany Force, echoed the sentiment, adding, “Everyone at John Force Racing is thankful for all our amazing fans.”
Following the crash, Force was rushed to a Virginia hospital, where he spent two weeks in intensive care. His road to recovery has been long and demanding, involving extensive rehabilitation at the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix. Despite the severity of the injuries, Force remained focused on recovery, driven by his passion for the sport and his team.
In his first appearance back on the NHRA circuit, Force provided an update on his condition. Speaking at the NHRA Las Vegas event, he explained: “I’m going to be spectating for a while. That’s what I need to do to get well. I got hit in the head – not just once… a lot of times. And it all kind of built up.”
Force continued, acknowledging the strong support from his team and fans: “It’s good to be here. The fans are unbelievable. Love the fans. Love NHRA. I hadn’t seen my team in four or five months almost. It was good to be back. I feel good. I’ve got a lot of work to do in the future. My teams have held it together, so God bless ’em.”
As he shared his gratitude for the sport, Force also expressed appreciation for the drag racing community, saying, “God bless all of you, and God bless America.”
Brittany Force, who has also established herself as a dominant force in NHRA racing, spoke about how special it was to have her father back at the track. Reflecting on their family’s deep connection to the sport, she said, “Coming into this weekend, we knew it was going to be special because my dad had planned to come out. I think everyone was looking forward to seeing him, especially me.”
Brittany, who had been racing without her father at her side since his accident, admitted that it had felt strange being at the racetrack without him. “I’ve grown up out here
at these racetracks all over the country, but I have never been out here without him,” she said. “So, it has definitely been strange since June to be out here without family, which is why my team and all these guys and everybody in John Force Racing – everyone in our pits – is family.”
Despite the emotional challenges of racing without her father, Brittany expressed immense pride in his recovery and return to the track. “He has been pushing physical therapy and he has been focused, and he has been dedicated to it, and we are really proud of him,” she said. “But I think being out here with his old routine, with the fans, with his teams, standing on a racetrack, that’s where he should be.”
The Thanksgiving message is a fitting way to celebrate not only the holiday but also John Force’s incredible resilience and the unbreakable bond of family that has been central to his success on and off the track. With 157 event wins and 16 Funny Car titles, Force’s legacy in the sport of drag racing is secure. But it’s his unwavering determination and dedication to his team and fans that truly set him apart as one of motorsports’ most beloved figures.
As John Force continues his recovery, it’s clear that his journey is far from over. With his family by his side and the support of his fans, he’s ready for whatever comes next – both on and off the track.
