Marco Bezzecchi, riding for Ducati’s Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team, returns to action at one of the most breathtaking tracks on the calendar, Phillip Island in Australia. Following a seventh-place finish in Japan, Bezzecchi, currently ninth in the standings with 134 points, remains focused on his continuous growth and maximizing the characteristics of one of the fastest and most challenging circuits of the season.
For Bezzecchi, Phillip Island holds special meaning. It was at this track in 2022 that he secured the title of “Rookie of the Year” in MotoGP.
The Italian rider is motivated to face the unpredictable weather conditions in Australia, known for wind, cold, and rain, as he aims to confirm himself as one of the strongest riders at the season’sPhillip Island is a track to enjoy: very fast, especially the final sector, and very, very beautiful. As always, we will have to deal with the weather, with wind, cold, rain; it won’t be easy, but it’s something we know we have to take into account.
In Japan, we did a good job, maybe we weren’t as competitive as in Mandalika, but we collected solid results and, even with different grip conditions, we managed to be closer to the top riders. Let’s keep going like this, three very demanding weeks await us, but we can take another step forward.
