Ronnie O’Sullivan’s comments about his explosive verbal attack on Ali Carter have been criticized by the World Snooker Tour. O’Sullivan described Carter as a “nightmare from hell” and claimed he needed to “see a counsellor” after defeating his bitter rival in Sunday’s Masters final.

O’Sullivan added: “He has a beef with me. He’s got problems, he needs to get his life together, he needs a counselor or something. He needs to sort it out because I haven’t spoken to him in 20 years.”
