Nick Sirianni’s future with the Eagles been determined. what we know

It is difficult to think that Nick Sirianni is in this predicament.

Just one season ago, the Philadelphia Eagles were participating in the Super Bowl. A few months ago, they were looking like Super Bowl candidates.

However, Philly supporters want the guy gone since everything fell apart so spectacularly in the last stretch, which culminated in Monday’s 32-9 playoff loss to Tampa Bay.

And it’s not out of the question that Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie might fire him, particularly in light of the fact that coaches like Bill Belichick and Jim Harbaugh are visiting teams in search of employment.

The Philadelphia Inquirer’s Jeff McLane reports that Sirianni will meet with Lurie and general manager Howie Roseman on Wednesday to discuss his final meeting of the season, so fans may not have to wait long to find out what the plan is there either.

According to McLane, he would also have his farewell interviews with the players.

McLane wrote on X, the defunct Twitter platform, “No secret that if he stays, there will have to be significant changes made to his coaching staff.” “And Jalen Hurts, the quarterback, who did not refute an ESPN report stating he was dissatisfied with the direction of the offence, will need to build some bridges with Sirianni.”

“Preliminary signs suggest that Lurie hasn’t made a definitive decision regarding Sirianni’s future with the Eagles,”

continued.

Additionally, he mentioned that after Doug Pederson was let go by Lurie in 2020, he went into their final season meeting with the intention of keeping him, but in the end, they decided to fire him since they were unable to agree on coordinator candidates.

Though it is difficult to believe the Eagles are in this scenario, Philly supporters will have a lot to watch today and in the upcoming days and weeks.
