A recognizable face along the 49ers’ protective line supposedly will stay in the Sound for something like another season.

In five seasons with the 49ers, Givens has showed up in 57 customary season games and began 13, counting 79 handles – – 45 performance – – with three passes protected and 12 quarterback hits across that range. The 27-year-old made one beginning against the Arizona Cardinals during the 2023 NFL season, recording four handles, one for misfortune.
Givens marked back to back one-year agreement expansions with San Francisco in 2022 and 2023, and seems to have pursued that direction again this offseason to return as a significant profundity piece along the 49ers’ D-line.
