Royal Family Deletes from website comments on Racial Abuse on Megan, Prince Harry reacts says this only confirms…

When news of King Charles and Kate Middleton’s cancer broke, rumors arose that the royal family would join Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in supporting each other during this difficult time.

But recent reports don’t seem to reflect that. A Newsweek report revealed that the royal family recently removed a statement from Prince Harry in which he criticized the British media in 2016 for Meghan Markle’s “comments and outright sexism and racial overtones.” The statement, issued at the behest of Prince Harry by former Kensington Palace communications secretary Jason Knauf, was unavailable between December 3 and 10, 2023, the report said.

Prince Harry’s explosive memoir Spare, published on January 10, 2023, also revealed that King Charles and his brother Prince William were furious with him when he made the statement.

In his book, he wrote: “In fact, my statement triggered a whole new attack – from my family. Father and Willy were angry. They gave me a piece of jewelry. My statement made them feel bad, they both said. ‘Why the hell?’ Because they never made a statement to their girlfriends or wives when they were harassed.” Returning to the removal of the statement from the royal family’s website, Newsweek believes it may have been part of a larger effort to link content related to Harry and his wife, Meghan.

Newsweek also added that their biographies were also reduced this year. Prince Harry’s profile used to be 2,700 words long, while the Duchess’ profile was 1,300 words, but now they share a bio of just under 600 words.

In 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle retired from royal duties.

The statement read: “His fiancée, Meghan Markle, has been subjected to a wave of abuse and harassment. Some of it has been very public – the smearing of the front page of a national newspaper; the racial undertones of comment sections; and the outright sexism and racism of trolls on social media and comments on online articles Some of it is hidden from the public – nightly court battles to keep defamatory stories out of the papers, that her mother has to fight in front of photographers to get to her door, journalists and photographers try to enter her home, and the subsequent bribes offered by the newspapers, bombarding almost every friend, colleague and the love of her  life”, it continued; “Prince Harry is concerned for the safety of Ms. Markle and is deeply disappointed that he failed to protect her”
