Springfield Fall Festival Offers Live Music, Vendors, and Family Entertainment in Downtown Effingham

Erin Phillips, Springfield’s Planning and Development Director, shared that the city has been working hard to bring an array of local businesses and food trucks to the event. The musical festivities will continue with the popular local band Lyn Avenue, who will begin their set at 6 p.m. The evening will culminate with the highly anticipated performance by the country music band Lonestar, taking the stage at 8 p.m.

Dean Sams, founding member of Lonestar, expressed his excitement about performing in Springfield. “Anywhere there’s fans that like what we do, we’re excited to be there. We all love Georgia. My sister lives in Georgia, so I think she’ll be coming to our show as well,” Sams said. “That’ll make it even extra special for me. I get to spend some extra time with her, so you Georgia folks get ready on come on out. It’s going to be an awesome time.”
