**Ducati Lenovo Team Gears Up for the British GP at Silverstone**
With the World Ducati Week now a memory, the Ducati Lenovo Team is poised to recommence the 2024 MotoGP season.
This weekend, Francesco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini will pilot their Desmosedici GPs at the prestigious Silverstone Circuit for the tenth round of the championship, marking the end of the summer break.
The Monster Energy British GP, scheduled from August 2-4, will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the MotoGP Championship with a special touch.
For this milestone event, bikes and riders will sport “vintage” liveries inspired by the championship’s rich history. A preview
Reigning World Champion Francesco Bagnaia, who leads the standings with a commanding 222 points after winning the last four races, aims to sustain his dominant form.
His teammate, Enea Bastianini, currently fourth in the championship with 155 points, is eager to climb higher in the standings and push for the podium.
Bagnaia reflected on the break, stating, “Our vacation ended earlier than the other riders. Last week, we were in Misano for World Ducati Week, which was a great opportunity to interact with fans and test the new Panigale V4 S.
After the Lenovo Race of Champions, it’s time to focus on racing again. I’m rested and ready to tackle the intense second half of the season.”
Bastianini shared his enthusiasm, saying, “These past three weeks off were necessary, but I’m eager to get back on track. We’ve shown steady improvement throughout the first half of the season, and with several tracks coming up where I usually perform well, I’m looking forward to competing. The special fairing for the 75th Anniversary will add to the excitement.”
The Ducati Lenovo Team will commence their Silverstone campaign on Friday, August 2, at 10:45 AM local time (GMT +1) with the first free practice session.
