The Warning reflects on how there Album “Keep Me Fed” with New Singles came about and what inspired the 2025 US tour

The alternative rock scene is about to be set ablaze with the return of *The Warning*, the powerhouse sister-trio from Monterrey, Mexico. Known for their electrifying sound and unapologetic energy, the band is gearing up for the release of their eagerly awaited full-length album, *Keep Me Fed*, set to drop on June 28, 2024, under LAVA/Republic Records. In preparation for the album’s arrival, *The Warning* has unveiled two singles—“Hell You Call A Dream” and the Spanish-language track “Qué Más Quieres”—each accompanied by their own captivating lyric videos.

A Deeper Dive Into Keep Me Fed

The concept behind the album’s title, *Keep Me Fed*, reflects the band’s journey through the intense creative process that shaped its sound. “Throughout the whole process, the work was consuming us,” said Pau, one of the band’s lead members. “By impacting everything we did, the album kept us fed both creatively and personally. We’re inviting other people to participate and consume it too.” This idea of an album being both a source of nourishment and a driving force behind their work is woven throughout the band’s evolving sound and storytelling.

Unveiling the Singles

To give fans a taste of what’s to come, *The Warning* has released two singles that showcase their evolution and diverse musical range.

“Hell You Call A Dream,” co-written and produced by Anton Delost (Highly Suspect, Mayday Parade) and Dan Lancaster (MUSE, Bring Me The Horizon), blends an electrifying mix of keyboard melodies and punchy basslines with a hard-hitting guitar groove. The song encapsulates the chaotic experience of being a touring musician,

as Dany explains, “It’s about how something you love so much can also be something that weighs you down, but you continue to do it out of love. It’s fulfilling, but it’s tiring.” With its introspective lyrics like “Give me something to believe, in this hell you call a dream,” the track is a raw reflection on the emotional highs and lows of the music industry.

On the other hand, “Qué Más Quieres” brings a different flavor, blending a heavy riff with electronic elements and an anthemic, chantable chorus. As Pau shared, “It’s about taunting and manipulating… we were thinking of the TikTok phrase, ‘Gaslight, Gatekeep, Girlboss’, and turned it into a song.” The track’s title, which translates to “What else do you want?” is a bold, powerful anthem that’s designed to resonate globally. It also marks an important step for the band as they continue to represent their country on the world stage. “It means a lot to sing in our language and represent our country. Over the years, doors have finally opened for Mexican women in rock, and we’re actively participating in opening these doors where we can,” Dany adds.

Previous Hits and Rising Stars

In addition to the new singles, *Keep Me Fed* will feature several tracks that have already garnered significant attention, including “MORE” and the recently released fan favorite “S!CK.” The latter, which has been climbing the Active Rock charts, has already earned praise from major outlets. *Revolver* raved, “Like the Mexican sister-trio’s previous output, it’s undeniably infectious,” while *Classic Rock* described it as “a shot-in-the-arm of propulsive, fire-spitting hard rock.” Even *Rolling Stone* gave it a shoutout, including it in their list of “All The Songs You Need To Know This Week.”

Touring the World

As the album’s release date approaches, *The Warning* is gearing up for a series of high-profile performances. After performing at Mexico’s prestigious Pa’l Norte and Vive Latino festivals, they will embark on a month-long European tour, kicking off in Madrid on April 4, 2024, at Sala La Riviera. The tour will see them perform across the continent, with the final stop in London at the O2 Forum Kentish Town on April 27. This European tour follows their highly successful 2023 run, which included sold-out shows across the EU and UK, as well as supporting MUSE and Royal Blood on their monumental stadium tours.

Additionally, the band has had a historic year in their home country, selling out their largest show to date in Mexico City at the iconic Pepsi Center, with shows across South America continuing to sell out as well.

A Bright Future Ahead

With *Keep Me Fed*, *The Warning* are solidifying their position as one of the most exciting and versatile rock acts in the world today. As they continue to break barriers for Mexican women in rock and deliver music that speaks to the heart of their fans, the trio is poised to take the music world by storm. Their new album promises to be a culmination of hard work, passion, and a sound that is distinctly their own, bringing fresh energy to the alternative rock genre.

For fans eager to get their hands on physical products, *The Warning* will be offering a variety of merch options including CDs, vinyl, t-shirts, and exclusive fan packs (CD/t-shirt or vinyl/t-shirt) available through RepublicRecords.com.
