A PIGEON found protecting on a patio in Powys has been brought together with its proprietor after a decent Samaritan drove it to him – very nearly 250 miles away in Scotland.
James Hutton-Motherwell, who says he loves to help individuals, surely exceeded all expectations for the pigeon’s proprietor after he was labeled in a Facebook post by a work partner.

Amelia Jones took the pigeon in when it seemed to have taken cover on her patio in the wake of being pursued by two male pigeons.

Subsequent to finding the proprietor resided in Scotland, the arrangement was to find a messenger administration to bring her back home – until James dipped in and to the salvage.
“Fundamentally, a person from work labeled me in the post as I have family in Scotland,” said James, 35.
“In this way, fortunately, I was going up to see them (on) the Friday (May 17). I informed Amelia saying I was going up and eager to assist.

James, a Scotsman who has called Llandrindod Wells home throughout the previous seven years in the wake of wedding a nearby young lady, got the pigeon on Friday morning and went to the meeting point – a slip street off the A74 at Ecclefechan, near where the pigeon’s proprietor lives, in Lockerbie, around 10 miles into Scotland.
“On the manner in which up the crate fell over and it got out and was fluttering near so I needed to pull over and sort everything out on the hard shoulder,” said James.
“He just fluttered about on the rearward sitting arrangement. At the point when I got to the person he said it had been peddled so I don’t know whether that implies it cannot fly.
“I continued and dropped it off on the slip street of the A74 and the person couldn’t say thanks to us enough.”
James, who works for Powys District Chamber’s waste and reusing office in Rhayader, was making a beeline for visit family who live close to Edinburgh.
